Ray Kieliszak heads Cedar Croft Consulting’s Upstate New York office in Rochester. He is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in leading operations through start-up, turnaround, multiple strategic plans, and implementation to improve profitability and efficiency. After a 10 year career at General Motors, he developed a niche for providing advisory services to small to medium-sized businesses, primarily those that were private equity and family owned.  He has vast experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, food and beverage, industrial engineering, finance, and materials control segments.

Mr. Kieliszak recently served as the Executive Advisor to the founder/CEO of a $600m oil and gas exploration company, providing resolution to a major third-party drilling contractor dispute, thereby successfully completing an extensive portfolio of exploration warrants and maintaining positive investor relations; also provided executive staff assessment, and recommended the CEO family succession plan for the aging owner. In an oil and gas support services company, as a result of the declining exploration following the decline of oil prices, he provided operations support for a consulting team assessment of the company’s operating plan and financial projections for its investors.

He also recently served as an interim COO assignment at a food processing plant, providing stability in leadership as the PE firm searched for long-term replacement.  He completed an assignment at a frozen dough manufacturer, providing an assessment of the full operations team leadership and salvaging an under-performing key senior manager through mentoring and redirecting focus.  Ray has also advised a beverage company to increased liquidity through improved scheduling, provided an assessment of the senior staff resulting in staff realignment, and aided in resolution of union relations issues.

Mr. Kieliszak has held several key direct positions at Nationwide Precision with full P&L responsibility.  He was Vice President and responsible initially for the one and only family plant manufacturing operations.  When the business was sold to a group of investors known as Precision Partners, he was entrusted with the challenge of reorganizing and merging multiple locations at an unprofitable sister company in Canton, Michigan.

Mr. Kieliszak offers a unique blend of hands on operations experience combined with financial understanding and industrial engineering skills, as well as executive leadership at multiple businesses.  This provides a well-rounded ability to perceive opportunity in all aspects of business. He received his BA from St. John Fisher and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also an active member of the Upstate New York Chapter of the TMA.
